With the cool crisp air and the sun starting to rise I hear the leaves crunch in the distance.
The Morning of November 3rd 2007 I had shot this Nice 7-point Brawler after He took the life of a smaller six point buck that chased a Doe through his area.
This was my best buck to date, the morning of Nov 12 was terribly warm, in fact I was wearing lightweight gear as if it was dove season, not deer season.
On the third day of the South Dakota Archery Season I found myself returning to the same area that I got my archery and rifle deer the year prior; and turkey earlier that year.

This was the 3rd good buck in my "Dream Season" - I had seen this buck several times my neighbor and I knew he was a 4 year old that he wasn't going to get anymore in length.
